Police Log: Wakefield Man Accused of Assault With a Dangerous Weapon

At 1:35 a.m. Sept. 1, Wakefield Police responded to the area of Main and Avon Streets for a report of an assault. The caller reported he was assaulted with a knife, according to police. Joseph Ignasius Parcellin, 18, of 11 Bartley St., Apt. #A207, Wakefield, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.

@1:02 a.m.: State Police called to report a motor vehicle accident at Exit 40 off Route 128 North. The crash occurred in the high-speed lane of the highway, according to police. and Action Ambulance called to the scene. Police filed a report.
@10:51 a.m.: Police called to Foundry Street for a report of vandalism. Security reported vandalism to the garage. Police filed a report.

@3:41 p.m.: Police responded to Forest Street for a report of suspicious activity. The caller reported a suspicious vehicle across from her house with a man wearing an orange hat inside, according to police. The vehicle was a two-door sedan, and the caller said the man doesn't look right, according to police. Michael Wallace, 41, of 240 Albany St., Cambridge, was arrested and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicating liquor and possession of an open container in a motor vehicle. His vehicle was towed from the scene, according to police.
@7:34 p.m.: Police called to the area of Main and Water Streets for a report of vandalism. The caller told officers that a male punched his windshield in traffic, according to police. No arrest noted. Police filed a report.
