Police Log: 16-Year-Old Girl Arrested on Abuse Charges, Warrants

Featured item: A 16-year-old female was arrested for allegedly assaulting another female inside the family's Richardson Avenue apartment at 1 a.m. on Saturday, June 9, according to Wakefield Police. 

Police said that when they arrived, they found the juvenile and an adult female in a physical altercation. After separating the two, police determined the adult female had a lump with a fresh cut on her forehead, and that the juvenile was the primary aggressor in the fight, police said. They arrested the 16-year-old on charges of assault and battery, and three outstanding warrant charges including disturbing the peace and domestic assault and battery.

Friday, June 8:
9:46 a.m. - A Sharon woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Wakefield after she called police to report a separate issue. The woman, Rachelle Scordino, 24, of Sharon, MA called police to reported that she had just been in a heated argument with her friend's mother. However, when police arrived, they determined she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest out of Roxbury District Court for Possession of Heroin. She was taken into custody. 

10:08 a.m. - A resident of a mental health group home on Centre Street was reported missing.

6:03 p.m. - A caller reported seeing two hedge hogs in the street, with one being "vicious" the caller said. The animal control officer was notified. 

6:09 p.m. - Police summonsed to court a Lynn man who allegedly drove without a license in Wakefield and had an illegal exhaust system. Police said they pulled over the man driving in a 1996 red Honda Coup. Three occupants of the car gave the officer different information, so police searched the vehicle, but found no suspicious activity. The driver will be charged out of Malden District Court with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and a modified exhaust system.

10:10 p.m. - Police are searching for a Lynn man who is allegedly stalking an ex-girlfriend and violating his restraining order. Police said Daniel LeBoeuf, 30, of Lynn, MA has been calling the female victim and leaving her voicemails, which violates his restraining order. On the night of June 8, police said LeBoeuf had called her multiple times while she was staying at the Lord Wakefield Hotel. He is believed to be tracking the victim by using her social security number to track her via credit card. He was charged with five counts of violating and abuse prevention order out of Malden Distrct Court. 

11:50 p.m. - A 19-year-old man was placed into protective custody after police responded to a fight that had broken out on Sheffield Road. Police determined that the man was intoxicated. 

Saturday, June 9
1:14 a.m. -  Police arrested Caitlin O'Hara, 27, of 46 Church St. for allegedly driving without a license in Wakefield. 

2:52 a.m. - Wakefield Police arrested Shawn Brown, 23, of Andover, MA for allegedly driving with a suspended license in Wakefield. 

6:53 a.m. - An Everett man will be summonsed to court for allegedly driving without a license in Wakefield. 

9:43 a.m. - A resident of Hillis Avenue reported that the screen to the front porch on his home had been cut open, police said. Police believe the damage is the result of a break-in attempt at the residence, as there was a home on the street broken into several days ago. 

11:17 a.m. - A resident of Woobury Rd. reported he was the victim of a scam through Western Union. The man said he received a phone call from a man stating his girlfriend was in the hospital and he needed to wire $500 to the West Indies in order to pay for her medical bills. The man wired the money but became suspicious when he realized his girlfriend was not in the hospital. He also was able to receive $250 back from Western Union. 

4:22 p.m. - Police responded to a motorcycle accident on Lafayette St. and Church St. The driver was transported to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital with minor injuries. 

4:36 p.m. - A woman reported her 89-year-old father went missing in the area of the Festival by the Lake. Police were able to locate the man in the area based on the provided description. 

Sunday, June 10:

12:06 a.m. - Robert Robinson, 45, of Reverse, MA was charged with a second offense of operating under the influence and a marked lanes violation in Wakefield. Police said Robertson was seen driving a red Honda Civic that was weaving across lanes of traffic an dinto the middle yellow line. Robertson allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody. He will be charged wtih OUI liquor, 2nd offense, and a marked lanes violation. 

7:33 p.m. - Police received a report of finding blood on the door on Otis Street. Police said when they arrived they saw the bloood on the door, along with a note that said, "Ronald is a woman beater, just look at my nose." Police also found blood through the hallway. Polie found a female crying in the middle of the room with the room in disarray. The woman was injuried and had blood on her hands and face. The woman told police she had a verbal fight with her boyfriend and then she was so angry she smashed up her entire apartment and bloodied the home. However, police learned that the boyfriend, Ronald Racca, 46, of 12 Otis St. in Wakefield, had an oustanding warrant of his arrest out of Chelsea District Court so he was taken into custody.
