PHOTOS: Three New Firefighters Join Wakefield Department

Three firefighters were sworn in on February 1st at Wakefield Town Hall.

Meet Patrick Jones, Michael Rowe, and Nolan Curran, the three newest members of the Wakefield Fire Department.

The new firefighters were appointed to replace retired Wakefield Firefighter Thomas Curran and Firefighters Phil Rogers and Timothy Robblee, who transferred from the department to join the Chelsea and Malden fire departments. Their appointment brings the department back to a staffing level of 49.

"All three men are excellent firefighter candidates and I look forward to working with them as they start their new careers in the fire service," said Wakefield Fire Chief Michael Sullivan.
