One Arrested For OUI

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, October 16, 2012.

At 8:13 a.m., police were informed that a man was sleeping in his car on Main Street. He turned out to be getting in some extra sleep before work.
At 8:30 a.m., two Wakefield police personnel were sent to provide mutual aid assistance for security during the Dalai Lama’s visit to Medford.
At 1:33 p.m., a citizen came to report a large tree branch fell on his vehicle near Avon Street and Main Street.
At 1:56 p.m. a larceny report came in from Albion Street.
At 2:06 p.m., police arrested Allan E. Raia Jr., 32, 38 Valley Street, Wakefield, for OUI liquor and on the town’s open container by-law.
At 8:29 p.m., a caller reported that the occupants of two motor vehicles appeared to be engaged in some sort of drug activity. An officer found them only smoking a couple of cigars.
