One Arrest, Couple of Accidents Over Thanksgiving

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, November 27, 2013.
At 5:14 p.m. police responded to Spaulding Street for a report of unwanted individuals in an apartment.
At 6:04 p.m. a one-car accident reportedly occurred on Hemlock Road, with the operator having apparently left the scene at the time.
At 11:10 p.m. some people were reported yelling in the street on Spaulding Street. They were gone on arrival.
At 11:16 p.m. an erratic operator was reported on Albion Street heading into Stoneham.
At 2:24 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 28, Police arrested Robert A. Farley, 33, 95 Audubon Road, Wakefield, and charged him with assault and battery – domestic, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
At 8:11 a.m. a suspicious male was reported on Chestnut Street. An officer gave him a ride home.
At 5:03 p.m. State and Wakefield Police were notified of pedestrians walking on Route 128 North.
At 7:19 p.m. police took a report of a hit and run accident on Salem Street and soon issued a summons to a 26 year old Wakefield man for reckless operation of a motor vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.
