North Ave Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested by Norton Police

Norton Police arrested a man suspected of robbing four banks in eastern Massachusetts, including The Savings Bank on North Avenue in Wakefield.

Norton Police arrested a man on Saturday who is suspected of robbing four banks in eastern Massachusetts, including in Wakefield.

Norton Police say Ramon Felix, 27, of Quincy, was located at a drug rehabilitation center in Brockton on April 28, according to an . Felix was placed under arrest in Brockton and transported to .

A total of four outstanding arrest warrants were active for Felix; one each for Norton, Newburyport, Wakefield and the Quincy District Court Probation Department.

Wakefield Police said a male suspect resembling Felix entered the North Avenue branch of The Savings Bank around 4 p.m. on April 23 and passed a note to the tellers demanding money. The note said he had a weapon on him, although no weapon was shown.

The suspect then left the bank on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Felix is being held without bail at the Norton Police Department and will be arraigned Monday morning at the Attleboro District Court.
