Man Shakes Door Late At Night

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, December 11, 2013.
At 8:45 a.m. an accident was reported near Albion Street and Homestead Lane.
At 9:43 a.m. police took a report of an individual sleeping in a vehicle on Hopkins Street. Police arrested Deryl J. Witham, 50, 18 Campbell Street, Woburn, and charged him on two warrants.
At 10:46 a.m. an accident was reported near North Ave. and Church Street.
At 1:44 p.m. two wallets lost by customers were turned in by a manager at Shaw’s. Both were returned to their owners.
At 2:46 p.m. police checked on a verbal argument on Salem Street.
At 5:42 p.m. police were informed that a youth had taken and destroyed newspapers from another youth doing a news route.
At 12:28 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, a caller on Charles Street reported a man shook the door and ran away.
