Man In White Truck Approached Youth
Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, July 9, 2013.
At 9:31 a.m. a woman reported her debit card was stolen from her gym locker and then later was used at Dunkin Donuts. The matter remained under investigation.
At 12:12 p.m. a man reported that his son was walking home on Galvin Circle recently when an older heavyset male with white hair driving a white Ram pickup truck asked him if he wanted a ride home.
At 12:45 p.m. police took a report involving an apparent attempt at credit card fraud.
At 2:46 p.m. a Main Street resident reported that somebody was trying to get into her residence with a key. It turned out to be a confused neighbor.
At 3:26 p.m. a bicycle was reported on Albion Street.
At 5:22 p.m. a caller reported that a vehicle on Main Street struck a light pole pulling into a parking space, and then left.
At 8:13 p.m. a minor accident was reported on Main Street.
At 10:41 p.m. a caller reported a blue sedan near Pleasant Street and Eaton Street with no lights on. The driver was lost and looking for directions.
At 11:54 p.m. police responded to a verbal argument between a male and a female on Greenwood Street.
