Man Charged With Several Drug Offenses

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
at 10:59 a.m. a caller reported a number of syringes found on Elm Street. DPW sent a street sweeper to clean up the area.
At 1:02 p.m. police were informed that a truck struck a telephone pole in a Salem Street parking lot.
At 1:23 p.m. a child reportedly injured her leg on a trampoline on Ames Street and was taken to a nearby hospital.
At 1:54 p.m. police arrested David Charles O’Connor Jr., 29, 1 Innis Dr., Billerica, and charged him with operating a vehicle with license revoked/subsequent offense, and failure to signal.
At 4:57 p.m. police took a report of a past hit and run on Main Street.
At 5:42 p.m. a road rage incident near Main Street and Nahant Street was reported.
At 7:31 p.m. a caller near Hart Street and Valley Street reported a fight between two men, with one man possibly being choked. Police issued a summons to a 44 year old Stoneham man for assault and battery.
At 8:59 p.m. police arrested Joseph Ignasius Parcellin, 19, 1 Azarian Court, Wakefield, and charged him with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, possession of a Class D drug with intent to distrubute; subsequent offense, distribution of a class D drug, and a drug violation near a school/park.
At 9:09 an officer spoke with some youths on Preston Street after receiving a fireworks complaint.
At 9:44 p.m. a caller reported being threatened over the phone.
At 10:25 p.m. police were informed of a man on the ground near Franklin Street and Main Street. An officer brought him home.
