Man Charged With Resisting Arrest, Assaulting Police

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
At 9:08 a.m. an accident was reported on Lowell Street.
At 9:28 a.m. an accident involving a tractor trailer unit was reported near Main Street and Armory Street.
At 11:53 a.m. police were informed that a woman was yelling for help on Water Street. They arrested Kevin E. Lundin, 32, 318 Water Street, Wakefield, and charged him with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest, violating a 209A abuse prevention order, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (door).
At 11:55 a.m a man reportedly fell on ice on Montrose Ave. and struck his head.
At 3:03 p.m. a caller reported that another drive had followed him and then threatened him over his driving.
At 4:27 p.m. a single vehicle accident was reported near Main Street and Charles Street.
At 4:55 p.m. an accident was reported near Winn Street and Elm Street.
At 5:04 p.m. police and ambulance personnel were informed that a 27 year old commuter rail passenger on the way into Wakefield was suffering from possible food poisoning.
At 5:13 p.m. a car reportedly struck a tree on Spring Street.
At 5:37 p.m. a minor accident was reported on Main Street.
