Man Charged With Percocet Distribution Near a School

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, January 13, 2014.
At 8:08 a.m. some construction equipment was reported stolen on Audubon Road.
At 8:50 a.m. police were informed that the light department lot on Salem Street was broken into and some items stolen.
At 2:22 p.m. police arrested Joel Monegro, 21, 133 Union Street, Lawrence, and charged him with distribution of a Class B drug (Percocet) and a drug violation near a school or park, in this case, the Dolbeare School.
At 5:47 p.m. an accident was reported near Exit 39 on 128 North.
At 5:58 p.m. police recovered some diabetic supplies lost by an 87 year old woman in the North Ave. area.
At 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, police responded to Wakefield Ave. after a caller reported his neighbor was banging on the ceiling. All agreed to keep the noise down for the night.
