'Loud Bang' Thought To Have Come From Transformer

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, September 26.
At 8:26 a.m., a caller reported a large truck had been parked near Fernald Field for about an hour.
At 8:50 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to an accident in the Shaw’s parking lot.
At 10:59 a.m., police and fire personnel responded to a two car crash a North Ave. and Richardson Ave.
At 12:27 p.m., a stolen iPhone was reported.
At 12:52 p.m., a Line Road resident reported a past larceny.
At 4:16 p.m., a caller reported a loud bang near Prospect Street and North Ave. All appeared to be ok in the area and the noise was possibly thought to have come from a transformer.
At 7:32 p.m., a caller reported that there appeared to be some youths rolling marijuana cigarettes in a store parking lot on Albion Street. The caller provided a plate number that came up as possibly wrong.
