ID Theft, Stolen Steel Door Among Tuesday Reports

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, January 21, 2014.
At 9:26 a.m. a man reported being a victim of identity theft.
At 10:23 a.m. police arrested Matthew O’Malley, 23, 138 Salem Street, Wakefield, on a warrant for a 209A violation.
At 11:17 a.m. police were informed that a steel door was stolen from Audubon Road.
At 3:06 p.m. the fire department assisted an elderly man who was stuck in his vehicle after having trouble walking on the ice.
At 6:53 p.m. the DPW responded to Harrison Ave. for a report of an icy hill.
At 8:12 p.m. a caller reported that the door to Farmland on Main Street was open. Further investigation found all in order.
At 11:57 p.m. a noise complaint came in from Elm Street.
