Dog Thought Stolen Was Just Out For A Walk

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, October 2.

At 8:17 a.m., a woman reported her car was vandalized on Roosevelt Road.
At 8:19 a.m., a two-car accident was reported at Cedar Street and Albion Street.
At 10:02 a.m., a syringe was discovered at the corner of Water Street and Melvin Street.
At 11:06 a.m., a caller reported the occupants of a pickup truck were taking items from the pit on Nahant Street. Police arrested Anthony Ciccone, 49, 70 Fulton Street, Medford, on two warrants.
At 12:35 p.m., a caller reported their dog was missing and their front door was unlocked. The caller’s hairdresser had apparently taken the dog out for a walk.
At 1:40 p.m., an individual reported that a car on Main Street had tried to intentionally hit him.
At 3:10 p.m., there was a minor accident between a car and a bus on Main Street.
At 5:11 p.m., a caller reported two vehicles in the intersection at New Salem Street and Butler Ave, and that somebody was yelling for help. It turned out that one of the motorists was out of gas.
