Crime Largely Took a Holiday Monday in Town

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, November 11, 2013.
At 2:14 p.m., a water main break was reported on Tylers Lane.
At 2:34 p.m. a caller reported a couple of girls about to fight on Lafayette Street. Police found no disturbance on arrival and sent the group on their way.
At 2:36 p.m. a caller on Gould Street reported some scrappers had come into his yard and stolen some scrap metal. Further investigation found nothing appeared to be taken.
At 4:53 p.m. some youths were reported trespassing behind a building on Water Street.
At 6:32 p.m. police were informed of a bonfire in the woods near JJ Round and Main Street.
