Credit Car Fraud Reported, And Woman Briefly Stuck in Elevator

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, July 8, 2013.
At 10:02 a.m. a citizen walked in and reported a past theft on Water Street.
At 1:25 p.m. police took a credit card fraud report.
At 2:52 p.m. police took a report involving fraud.
At 4:05 p.m. an accident was reported near Main Street and North Ave. Two vehicles were towed from the scene and their operators declined medical treatment.
At 4:49 p.m. a vehicle was reported stolen from the tow lot on Broadway. The vehicle was soon located and had apparently just been moved by its owner.
At 6:22 p.m. the fire department responded to what turned out to be a stovetop fire on Bartley Street.
At 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, State Police informed Wakefield that a woman on Audubon Road was reporting she was stuck in an elevator. She later called back and reported that she had gotten out on the second floor.
At 4:30 a.m. a man driving a white SUV on Greenwood Ave. was reportedly yelling at a female passenger. An officer sent them on their way.
