Couple Of Vehicle Break-Ins Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
At 8:23 a.m. a woman on Humphrey Street reported her vehicle was broken into the previous night.
At 9:15 a.m. police took a report of a past break-in on Nelly Street.
At 9:48 a.m. two pitbulls were reported walking on Willow Street. Animal Control did not locate them.
At 9:57 a.m. a parent reported that her son was struck by a car near the high school.
At 10:43 a.m. a Main Street business called about an unwanted individual.
At 12:39 p.m. police arrested Jerome Nollie, 53, 5 Chestnut Street, Wakefield, and charged him on two warrants.
At 1:34 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Cordis Street. Police found it parked in a nearby driveway.
At 2:56 p.m. a runner reportedly fell near Veterans Field and was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 4:25 p.m. a motor vehicle break-in from the previous night was reported on Main Street.
At 4:50 p.m. a man near Salem Street and Church Street was reportedly yelling at passing traffic. He was gone on arrival.
At 7:38 p.m. police were informed of an attempted phone scam from overseas.
At 9:56 p.m. a debit card was recovered at an ATM on Main Street.
