Couple of Fraud Cases Reported Monday

Information provided by Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, January 28th, 2013.
At 8:34 a.m. a two-car accident with no injury was reported on North Avenue.
At 11:04 a.m. the fire department responded to a Main Street building after receiving two calls of possible smoke on the roof.
At 1:08 p.m. police took a report involving an online scam.
At 8:30 p.m. police took a report involving fraud.
At 9:07 p.m. a man reported being attacked by a dog near Avon Street. Animal Control was notified.
At 9:26 p.m. a motorist reportedly struck a curb and broke an axle near Pleasure Island Road.
