Couple of Accidents Among Thursday Calls

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, January 23, 2014.
At 8:13 a.m. a woman reported her car was struck earlier on Bartley Street. Further investigation found the mark was from a tire.
At 9:35 a.m. a suspicious car was reported on Grafton Street.
At 10:07 a.m. police were informed of an accident near Quannapowitt Parkway.
At 11:44 a.m. police responded to an address on Millbrook Lane for a report of yelling coming from upstairs.
At 4:12 p.m. the fire department assisted a woman who had briefly lost her house keys.
At 4:48 p.m. police took a report of a disturbance on Winship Drive. Police issued a summons to a 55 year old Wakefield man charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot) and assault and battery – domestic. They also arrested Rhonda M. Demarco-Fazio, 49, 11 Winship Drive, Wakefield, and charged her with assault and battery-domestic.
At 5:57 p.m. an accident was reported on Main Street. One was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 6:28 p.m. a caller on Ballister Street reported that the occupants of a pickup truck were possibly doing drugs. It was gone on arrival.
