Counterfeit $100 Bill Turns Up In Wakefield

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, December 18, 2012.
At 9:54 a.m., police served a no trespassing order to an individual.
At 10:15, an individual reported a case of identity theft and a fraudulent purchase.
At 10:41 a.m., an individual at a local business informed police that a possibly counterfeit $100 bill had been passed to them the day before. Further investigation found that the bill was indeed counterfeit.
At 10:54 a.m., police were informed that two trailers had come off of a semi trailer and rolled into a fence at the DPW barn on North Ave.
At 11:11 a.m., a minor accident was reported on Main Street.
At 11:54 a.m., an accident was reported on North Ave. One patient was transported to a local hospital with neck pain.
At 12:32 p.m., a Pleasant Street woman reported that an upstairs neighbor had threatened her. Police determined that no specific threats were made and advised the woman to contact the landlord.
At 1:38 p.m., police were informed that the MBTA gate arm had fallen from its hinge on Broadway.
At 2:40 p.m., police took a report of an accident at Nahant Street and Traverse Street.
At 6:15 p.m., a car reportedly struck a wall near Main Street and Carriage Lane. Some wires also got knocked down during the incident.
At 8 p.m., a caller on Woodbury Road reported a woman laughing in the halls and looking into apartments. It turned out to be a staff member passing out informational flyers.
