Citizen Reports Finding Akita/Lab Mix

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, Novembr 19, 2012.
At 9:42 a.m., the DPW informed police of stolen copper on Nahant Street.
At 10:33 a.m., a caller reported that a man dressed in black had entered a yard on Furness Circle. The residence appeared secure.
At 1:25 p.m., a woman called from Briarwood Lane saying she did not want to enter her home because a strange car was parked outside. The vehicle’s owner was soon located and the matter resolved.
At 2:41 p.m., a citizen on Maple Way found a dog, a golden colored akita/lab mix with no collar or tags.
At 3:56 p.m., police received multiple calls about a possibly drunk woman causing a disturbance downtown. She was sent on her way and peace was restored.
At 4:04 p.m., animal control was notified of a German Shepherd running around on Hillcrest Road.
At 5:36 p.m., police took a complaint from Arundel Lane about a neighbor’s driving habits.
