Child Safety Seats Available From Police Dept.

State grant allows Wakefield Police to distribute some child safety seats to the public at no charge and to install them.

The following is an announcement from the Wakefield Police Department:

The Wakefield Police Department recently recieved a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office Of Public Safety And Security. We were able to purchase a number of child safety seats to distribute to the public through this grant. We have numerous seats available for installation, and they are free of charge. We have three Officers who are certified child safety seat technicians, and are available for seat inspections/installations by appointment.
