Child Safety Seat Fitting Is This Weekend

Child seat fitting station is Sunday, Sept. 23 at Wakefield Police Department from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Wakefield Police Department will be conducting a child safety seat Fitting Station at the Wakefield Police Station on Sunday, September 23, 2012 between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM. We will have three Police Officers who are certified Child Safety Seat Technicians available for seat checks and installations. We will assist people on a “first come, first served” basis. The event will take place at the rear of the Police Station, on Crescent St. No appointment is necessary.

The Wakefield Police Department has received a grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office Of Public Safety And Security. We will have a limited number of child safety seats available for distribution to the public at this event, free of charge. If you are unable to attend this event, as always an appointment can be made with one of the Officers for another date. For more information, please visit our website at www.wakefieldpd.org.
