Couple Wanted for Child Abuse Arrested in Florida; Had Been Seen in Swampscott

Roland Dow and Jessica Linscott were on the run for nearly two weeks and had allegedly been seen in Swampscott.

The New Hampshire couple wanted in connection with a horrific child abuse case has been captured, according to MyFoxBoston.com.

Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, were arrested in Florida, the news station reported.

The pair were on the run from police for nearly two weeks. Several alleged sightings of them were made around the North Shore. The two had also reportedly been seen in Swampscott. A massive manhunt came to Beverly over the weekend as authorities investigated what turned out to be a case of mistaken identity.

Dow was charged with first-degree assault for allegedly burning and battering Linscott's 3-year-old son earlier this month. Linscott was charged with child endangerment.

Police said they discovered the boy's injuries after he was treated at Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire on Nov. 14. He is still recovering from his injuries.

Yeahhhh! I hope there is no slap on the wrist for these two! That baby deserves justice for the long term injury they inflicted on that child, both physically and mentally.
