Car Strikes Tree, No Injuries Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, December 2, 2013.
At 9:14 a.m. a car reportedly struck a tree near Prospect Street and Hopkins Street. The car was mildly damaged and no other property damage was reported.
At 10 a.m. the fire department assisted a resident with a dwelling lockout.
At 4:36 p.m. police issued a summons to a 31 year old Lynn man charging him with a restricted way violation (Commercial vehicle) and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
At 9:17 p.m. a past hit and run was reported on Elm Street.
At 6:35 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, a caller reported a suspicious male going through vehicles in an auto repair shop lot. It turned out to be an employee who had locked his keys in his vehicle.
