Car Stolen In Wakefield Recovered In Revere

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013.
At 11:15 a.m. police were informed of a car up on blocks with stolen wheels on Audubon Road.
At 12:41 p.m. an accident near North Ave. and Chestnut Street was reported.
At 2:42 p.m. a caller reported that a group of students appeared to be smoking marijuana on Wiley Street. They turned out to be smoking cigarettes and were sent on their way.
At 6:35 p.m. Revere Police informed Wakefield that they had recovered a stolen motor vehicle reported in town.
At 8:38 p.m. police issued a summons to a 30 year old Wakefield man for operating with a revoked/suspended license and for a red light/stop sign violation.
At 10:27 p.m. police were informed of a man who was down in the street near Emerson Street. He was later placed into protective custody.
At 1:03 a.m. Wednesday a caller reported smoke detectors and smoke inside the house on Butternut Road. A working fire at the address was confirmed and it was soon extinguished.
