Car Break-Ins Reported On Parker Road

Information provided by Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, October 28, 2013.
At  7:41 a.m. police were informed that numerous cars were broken into on Parker Road.
At 8:15 a.m. an erratic operator was reported near Broadway and North Ave.
At 8:32 a.m. a pedestrian was reported struck by a car on Water Street and was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 10:11 a.m. police took a report involving credit card fraud.
At 11:19 a.m. a caller reported being harassed by a man on Main Street in front of the Greenwood bus stop. The man later said he was not actually being harassed but was concerned about the individual possibly engaging in drug activity.
At 12:16 p.m. a child on Robin Road called to report that his mother had fallen down the stairs and was not moving. She was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 2:27 p.m. police were informed of a minor accident on Farm Street.
At 2:50 p.m. police took a report of an attempted mail scam.
At 4:01 p.m. a Crescent Street resident reported some items stolen that were delivered by mail.
At 4:18 p.m. police did a well-being check for an individual at the request of his friend.
At 4:35 p.m. police took a report about trespassers apparently tampering with a loading dock on a Main Street building. The area is now reportedly posted with no trespassing signs.
At 5:28 p.m. a male possibly under the influence of drugs was reported near Dell Ave. and Stedman Street. He was gone on arrival.
At 6:10 p.m. a caller reported that a possibly drunk female had just entered the driver’s side of a vehicle in a Water Street parking lot. Police later arrested Theresa O’Rourke Presterone, 54, 29 Clearview Ave., Lynn and charged her with OUI Liquor 2nd offense, possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, and possession of a Class B Drug.
At 10:36 p.m. Wakefield assisted Reading Police with locating a suspect in that town.
