Break-In, Youths Throwing Eggs Among Police Reports

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, August 21, 2013.
At 9:47 a.m. a lost cell phone was recovered near the lake.
At 10:55 a.m. police took a call about harassing text messages.
At 1:46 p.m. a citizen expressed concern about a fire extinguisher apparently left out in a parking lot on Main Street.
At 1:50 p.m. a head-on accident was reported on Water Street.
At 3:58 p.m. an individual was found passed out in some bushes on Albion Street and was taken to a nearby hospital.
At 4:26 p.m. police responded to a dispute between family members on Salem Street.
At 5 p.m. a past break-in was reported on Main Street.
At 6:03 p.m. police took a report involving debit card fraud.
At 7:40 p.m. a possible past break-in on Main Street was reported.
At 8:10 p.m. a caller reported screen left up at Elm Square and was concerned it could have been a break-in attempt.
At 9:37 p.m. a Main Street business manager reported a man on a bicycle with yellow gloves and a helmet had spent the past five hours riding in and out of traffic near the place.
At 9:47 p.m. police received a couple of calls involving a verbal dispute between a man and a woman near Vernon Street and Water Street.
At 10:29 p.m. a caller reported youths in a white four door vehicle on Broadway throwing eggs at other cars.
