Break-In Reported On Brook Street

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, September 19.
At 9:49 a.m., police took a report involving an Internet scam.
At 11:24 a.m., a caller reported a vandalized tow truck on Water Street.
At 12:53 p.m., police investigated a break-in on Brook Street. A K9 was sent to the scene to search for the individual.
At 1:48 p.m., a hit and run was reported at North Ave. and Church Street. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver 4 door jeep with New Hampshire plates operated by a bald white male who was talking on a cell phone at the time.
At 2:01 p.m., a minor accident was reported at Main Street and Albion Street.
At 2:40 p.m., police were informed of three youths on Main Street making vulgar comments to females. Police spoke to them about their language and sent them on their way.
At 5:56 p.m., an individual reported his vehicle was keyed on North Ave.
