Bleeding Man and Stolen Laundry Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, August 22, 2013.
At 11 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported near Main Street and Greenwood Street.
At 11:20 a.m. an accident was reported near Water Street and Main Street.
At 12:34 p.m. a citizen walked in with a report involving threats. Police determined that no crime had actually taken place.
At 12:46 p.m. an individual came in to report a missing person. The subject turned out to be in the process of moving out.
At 1:24 p.m. police took a complaint about 4-wheelers at the end of Sunset Drive.
At 4:01 p.m. police and rescue personnel responded to Richardson Ave. for a report of a woman passed out on a fire escape. She turned out to be OK.
At 4:43 p.m. a caller on Water Street reported that somebody had just tried the door of a closed service station. It turned out to be a prospective buyer.
At 5:23 p.m. police took a report of stolen laundry on Richardson Ave.
At 6:41 p.m. police were informed of an intoxicated individual who went out for a drive. He was back home soon after and family members were advised on ways to seek court assistance.
At 6:52 p.m. a caller reported a man who was bleeding from the head on Main Street. He was taken to a nearby hospital.
At 8:55 p.m. a large group of youths was moved from behind the Dolbeare School.
At 10:51 p.m. an accident with injury was reported on Forest Street.
At 11:49 p.m. an accident was reported on Salem Street.
