Arrests Made For Drugs and OUI

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
At 8:31 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Main Street.
At 11:58 a.m. animal control was informed of a deceased raccoon on a snowbank on Nahant Street.
At 12:31 p.m. an officer pulled a vehicle over near Chapman Road and Salem Street and arrested David A. Reyes, 29, 253 Lowell Street, Lawrence, and charged him with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, and possession of a Class B drug (cocaine) with intent to distribute.
At 1:34 p.m. police arrested John Butler, 28, 65 Converse Street, Wakefield, and charged him with assault and battery – domestic.
At 4:23 p.m. police took a complaint from a homeowner about a locksmith they had hired.
At 4:32 p.m. Wakefield assisted Medford with searching for a vehicle reported stolen out of that city. The vehicle was located and later picked up by its owner, while Medford was expected to take out a summons against the suspect.
At 4:44 p.m. a suspicious silver minivan was reported driving around on Sycamore Road.
At 6:10 p.m. the fire department responded to Bellevue Road for a reported fire in an oven. It was out on arrival.
At 8:19 p.m. police took a call about an unwanted party on Richardson Street.
At 8:30 p.m. a one-car crash was reported on Farm Street.
At 12:05 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, police took a call about an erratic operator. An officer arrested Alicia M. Hooper, 25, 48 Seery Street, Malden, and charged her with OUI Liquor.
