An Arrest, and an Animal at the Back Door

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, July 11, 2013.
At 10:08 a.m. police took a call about an elderly man in a car possibly in need of medical attention on North Ave. The car was gone on arrival.
At 11 a.m. a Parker Road resident called about a door to door solicitor.
At 2:37 p.m. police and rescue personnel responded to Chestnut Street for a report of a man having an allergic reaction. He was brought to a nearby hospital.
At 3:30 p.m. police took a trespassing report from Crescent Street.
At 5:23 p.m. police took a call involving a 12 year old who had locked herself in a bathroom during an argument with her mother.
At 8:07 p.m. police responded to a family disturbance on Broadway.
At 9:43 p.m. police sent an individual on his way from Richardson Street after receiving a report of an unwanted party.
At 10:44 p.m. police responded to a report of a man sleeping in his car on Albion Street.
At 11:58 p.m. Wakefield Police received a report from Medford of a possible dispute between a boyfriend and a girlfriend on Water Street. Police arrested Kevin Lundin, 30, 318 Water Street, Wakefield, and charged him with assault and battery – domestic.
At 1:08 a.m. on Friday, July 12, a caller on Broadway reported somebody knocking on the door. Police gave the individual a ride to the Clarion Hotel.
At 3:21 a.m. a Lovis Ave. resident reported that their rear screen door was moving and that somebody may be in the backyard. It turned out to be an animal.
At 6:48 a.m. the fire department responded to Smith Street after a caller reported that somebody’s lit cigarette had ignited a mulch pile.
