Accident Leads To OUI Arrest

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, October 24, 2013.
At 10:18 police took a call about solicitors on Lawrence Street.
At 1:05 p.m. police responded to a family issue on Greenwood Street.
At 2:19 p.m. a fight between a male and female was reported in a Main Street parking lot. The individuals were advised of their rights and sent on their way.
At 2:42 p.m. a suspicious truck was reported on Water Street.
At 3:42 p.m. police took a call about a barking dog on Gould Street. The owner was advised to bring it inside.
At 3:44 p.m. a loose dog was found on Spaulding Street.
At 4:34 p.m. police arrested Daniel Richard Gils, 34, 5 Chestnut Street, Wakefield, and charged him on a warrant out of Lynn District Court.
At 8:34 p.m. police took a report of a stolen bicycle on Cottage Street.
At 8:54 p.m. a Gould Street resident reported a neighbor backed into his stone wall, damaging it.
At 9:38 p.m. an accident was reported on Chestnut Street, with a light pole reportedly struck. Police arrested Linda A. Salamone, 48, 7 Mansion Road, Wakefield, and charged her with OUI Liquor.
