A Street Fight, A Dog Bite, An Arrest At Midnight

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, December 10, 2012.
At 7:57 a.m., police handled traffic near North Ave. and Albion Street during a blackout.
At 8:06 a.m., a caller reported that two men were possibly trying to remove a sign or a plaque on Main Street. They were doing work for the town.
At 9:49 a.m., police took a report involving stolen computers.
At 10:30 a.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported on Kathleen Drive.
At 12:31 p.m., a two-car accident was reported at North Ave. and Main Street.
At 2:41 p.m., a Woodbury Road resident reported that some items had been taken from his apartment.
At 4:24 p.m., police checked out a domestic argument on Salem Street.
At 4:48 p.m., a woman reported a young male riding his bicycle was struck by a car. It turned out that the youth had struck the parked car. He was not injured.
At 5:11 p.m., police were informed by a Winship Drive resident that a small white dog ran away that afternoon and was last spotted near Jordan Ave.
At 5:51 p.m., police took a report of a dog bite on Main Street. A report was also to be filed with Animal Control.
At 7:53 p.m., a street fight was reported near Main Street and Princess Street. The fight was over when police arrived and neither individual wished to pursue charges.
At 11:59 p.m., police took a call from Oak Street about an unwanted female at a residence. Soon after, they arrested John Vasquez, 46, 20 Oak Street, Wakefield, with assault and battery – domestic.
