A Man Taking Pictures, and Two Drug Arrests

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
At 8:44 a.m. a caller reported a man on Curtis Street had parked a white van in front of a neighbor’s house and then gone around to the back. He turned out to be the neighbor’s nurse.
At 9:50 a.m. a middle aged man was reportedly driving a blue four-door sedan through the neighborhood and taking pictures of houses. He was gone on arrival.
At 10:10 a.m. a Chestnut Street resident reported several items missing from her home.
At 4:42 p.m. police and fire personnel were notified of an odor of gas on Spring Street.
At 4:59 p.m. police took a call about some kids roughhousing in the street near Main Street and Salem Street. They were gone on arrival.
At 5:13 p.m. a caller reported that a man was standing outside a vehicle at the 129 Rotary yelling at a female inside of it. They were gone on arrival.
At 6:52 p.m. police sent two men on their way who had been having a verbal altercation near Main Street and Pitman Ave.
At 6:56 p.m. police arrested Michael C. Roscillo, 33, 95 Harnden Street, Reading, and charged him with distribution of a Class D drug, conspiracy to violate drug law, and a drug violation near a school/park.
At 7:52 p.m. police took a call about people screaming on Prospect Street for the past hour and a half. It turned out to be a children’s pool party.
At 11:12 p.m. a caller reported that a man had possibly been struck by a vehicle near Water Street and Melvin Street. He turned out to have fallen off his bicycle and was not struck by a vehicle. Police gave him a ride home.
At 11:40 p.m. a vehicle struck a telephone pole on North Ave.
At 2:14 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, after receiving a call from state police about a possible domestic disturbance on Fosters Lane, police arrested Sara Ashley Meuse, 21, 73 Mount Vernon Street, Malden, and charged her with assault and battery-domestic, possession of a class A drug, possession of a class B drug, and possession of a class E drug.
