A Home Struck By Lightning And A Heroin Arrest

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, September 12, 2013.
At 10:09 a.m. a bicycle was recovered on North Ave.
At 10:27 a.m. police arrested Miguel A. Morales, 23, 45 Jefferson Ave., Chelsea, and charged him with distribution of a Class A drug. In a followup email, Wakefield Police reported that the defendant allegedly sold a gram of heroin to an undercover officer. 
At 1:02 p.m. an accident was reported on Main Street near the Melrose town line.
At 7:23 p.m. police served a restraining order.
At 8:47 p.m. police responded to a family dispute on Greenwood Street.
At 9:02 p.m. Stoneham Police informed Wakefield that a male fell from a bicycle and struck his head near Prospect Street. Personnel in that town transported him to a nearby hospital.
At 9:58 p.m. a disabled auto was reported on Main Street.
At 10:52 p.m. the fire department was informed of a house struck by lightning on Parker Road.
At 11:36 p.m. the fire department responded to the previous address on Parker Road after a caller reported smelling smoke.
