A Couple Of Accidents And One Arrest

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, October 8, 2013.
At 10:43 a.m. a minor accident was reported near Salem Street and Lowell Street.
At 1:44 p.m. police took a call involving an individual being assaulted by a family member. Police arrested Marissa Y. Misiano, 19, 25 Kendrick Road, Wakefield, and charged her with assault and battery – domestic.
At 2:39 p.m. a caller reported a man on a bicycle had just taken a photo of St. Joseph School. He was gone on arrival.
At 2:48 p.m. a suspicious man was reported sitting in a vehicle near Marion Road and Vine Street for much of the day. He turned out to be trying to fix the brakes on the car.
At 3:44 p.m. a two car accident was reported on North Ave.
At 3:58 p.m. police took a report involving harassing text messages.
At 4:52 p.m. police sent a young man on his way who had been roller blading while holding onto a moving vehicle near North Ave and Main Street.
At 5:04 p.m. police took a report involving two suspicious cars on Salem Street.
At 7:27 p.m. a caller reported a man apparently unconscious in a small pickup truck near Main Street and Bennett Street. Police placed a 52 year old Lynn man into protective custody.
At 8:58 p.m. a Crescent Street resident called about a banging noise coming from a neighboring apartment.
At 10:21 p.m. police took a report from the state police about an apparent assault involving two friends, one of whom injured his hand. No charges were filed.
At 11:13 P.M. Pleasant Street resident reported that what she thought was a would-be burglar was actually a raccoon.
