A Counterfeit Bill and a Theft Among Tuesday Reports

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
At 9:17 a.m. police took a call from a Water Street business about a transaction with a counterfeit bill.
At 10:32 a.m. a caller on Sunset Drive reported a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the street. Police later located the vehicle on Thayer Circle and arrested Craig A. Mason, 45, 448 Central Street, Saugus, and charged him on three warrants.
At 12:16 p.m. police took a report involving a phone scam.
At 12:31 p.m. police took a larceny report.

At 4:44 p.m. the fire department responded to a report of a fire in a building on Audubon Road.
At 8:21 p.m. police issued a summons to a 51 year old Billerica woman for failure to yield at an intersection and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
At 2:03 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6, a caller reported his vehicle was struck while parked at the Dockside on Main Street. Police issued a summons to a 41 year old Wakefield woman charging her with operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
