Warriors Fall to Burlington, Still on Pace for Winning Record
Well balanced effort by the Warriors.
The Warriors came up short on Wednesday against Burlington. Despite the loss, the Warrior Boys Track and field team had some pretty performances.
We were lead by two of our captains; they had some pretty good performances. Brett Tassinari scored 15 points and Jonathan Miksis scored 13 points.
These two guys are just outstanding; they pretty much win whatever event
they are in. Brett won the 100 meters 11.3, 200 meters 23.2 and the triple jump 39 6 ½. John won the 400-meter hurdles 60.3, Javelin 138 and came 2nd in the 400 meters 53.5. James Bridges also had a big day with a win and the 800 meters in 2:06 and also as a leg in the winning 4x400 relay. Ryan Carey had a great day in the long jump with a big pr of 18'3" good for 2nd place. Marc Bucchieri had a strong 2nd place in the mile, Jared Geller edged out a Burlington runner at the line in the mile to snag a valuable point for 3rd place. Joe Paccito also secured 3rd in the Javelin and 2nd in the Discus.
