We as residents of the Dolbeare School District are opposed to the monstrosity of a cell tower that AT&T and Verizon are attempting to build behind the Methodist Church 271 Vernon St. This does not belong in our single family residential neighborhood. The Pastor Mortimer of the Methodist Church should be ashamed of himself for even considering to put this tower in our back yard. There are perceived health risks from these towers and they also represent a fire hazard and certainly lower our property values considerably.
All concerned residents should voice their opposition and concerns by writing to the Wakefield Zoning Board of Appeals 1 Lafayette St.Wakefield Ma. before the next meeting on Dec. 11 and also attend the meeting and let your voice be heard that "this tower does not belong in our residential neighborhood" and those of you who didn't have the chance to sign our petition opposing this installation please sign our on line petition at stopwakefieldtower.com every signature helps.
Thank-you
Anna & George Vaughn
