The (FFC) hosted the 16th Annual Paces for Faces Walk and Family Picnic on September 23, 2012 under a near perfect fall day in Wakefield, Massachusetts.

The fundraising proceeds from this walk have been helping families for over 16 years by providing FFC’s free publications, videos and access to information about facial differences. Donations also support informational meetings for individuals and families, as well as student scholarships.

The Foundation for Faces of Children is a New England-based, not for profit organization, providing clear, accurate information and other educational resources to children born with craniofacial conditions and their families.

Today, the Foundation's mission has expanded to address not only medical concerns, but also psychosocial, financial, and educational issues related to craniofacial conditions. To achieve this, FFC collaborates with leading specialists to provide accurate, up-to-date information for patients and parents regionally, nationally, and internationally. The Foundation is 100% reliant on private donations for funding. This Walk’s annual success guarantees the continuation of our mission.

Donation outreach this year was directly linked to the event and we are deeply grateful to the many supporters who assisted in making this year’s Walk our most successful event to date. Please visit our Walk website for a detailed list of supporters at: www.pacesforfaces.com

Wishing you peace, love and smiles this holiday season!

The 2012 Walk Committee:
Melina Fortin, Jennie Keniston, Mairi Fuller, Colleen Loughlin, Ursula Costigan, Meera Oliva, Cheryl Silveri, Shiyi Zan, Liz O’Keefe, and Monir Sahka
