Obituary: Rose Mary Fratto, 92

Rose Mary Fratto, 92, of Wakefield died on Tuesday, January 14 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Haverhill on August 8, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Domenica (Filoramo) Lazzaro.

Mrs. Fratto was a long time resident of Wakefield and Clearwater, Florida. She was a graduate of Wakefield High School and Forsythe Dental School in Boston. Mrs. Fratto had worked as a Dental Hygienist for more than 30 years at Showstack Dental Office.

She was the wife of the late Frank B. Fratto. Mrs. Fratto is survived by her three daughters; Susan J. Watson of California, Deborah E. Pherson of Bradford and Karen J. King of Reading, her two sons; David J. Fratto of California and Michael D. Fratto of Wakefield. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Christopher, Peter, Lisa and Amy and her 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Fratto was predeceased by her sister Mary Russell.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield on Saturday at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours. Interment will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
