Obituary: Robert A. Langlois, 83

Robert A. Langlois, 83 , of Bristol, Ct., beloved husband of Kathryn (Solari) Langlois, died on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at St Francis Hospital, Hartford, Ct.
Bob was born in Arlington, MA on November 7, 1930 and was the son of the late Arthur and Wilhelmina (Authier) Langlois.  He lived most of his life in the 
Boston area before moving to Bristol from Wakefield, MA 13 years ago.  He was a truck driver for Exxon before retiring.  He was a Korean War veteran
serving in the United States Army and received a Bronze Star Medal and  Purple Heart medal for his service.  Robert held a private pilot's license and was
a member of the Saugus-Everett  Elks Lodge #642.  He enjoyed bowling and golfing with his buddies at Westwoods Golf Course.  In addition to his wife,  Robert
leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Kevin McSweeney of Salem, NH, two brothers, Douglas Langlois of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Francis Langlois of
Westford, MA; two sisters, Jane Scala of Elizabeth, NJ and Gail Dinardo of Salem, NH; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces and
nephews.  He was predeceased by six brothers, Thomas, Edmond, Richard, Joseph, Ernest (Buddy) and George Langlois, and  two sisters, Delores Langlois 
and Marjorie Mellino.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2013, at 10 AM at St Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield, MA.
Burial, with military honors, will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden, MA.  There are no calling hours.  Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, Ct. is in
