Obituary: Ann Bennett, 70

Former Lynnfield resident, who owned Ann's Esthetique in Wakefield for 20 years, died Tuesday, Nov. 26.

The following is from Dello Russo Funeral Home.

Ann D. Bennett died peacefully at the Brigham and Women's Hospital on Tuesday. She was 70.

Ann was born and raised in Medford, the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen M. (Strazzulla) Corso. Although she lived in Lynnfield for the past several years, whenever asked, Ann would always proudly say that she was from Medford. For 20 years she owned and operated Ann’s Esthetique in Wakefield. She developed strong friendships with her clients and loved them all.

The beloved wife of William D. Bennett, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Helen Politano and her husband Vito, William D. Bennett and his wife Karyn and Anthony Bennett and his wife Valerie, all of Reading. She leaves her loving grandchildren: William, Nicole, Ethan, Lily, William IV, Gabriella and step granddaughter Julie Herman. She was a dear sister to Robert Corso and his wife Janice of Dennis and Anthony Corso and his wife Donna of Burlington.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Monday, Dec. 2, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery.
