Former Candidate Anthony Guardia Endorses Jason Lewis for State Senate

On Friday, former Wakefield School Committee member and candidate for State Senate, Anthony Guardia announced his endorsement of State Rep. Jason Lewis in the race to fill the 5th Middlesex Senate seat. Lewis recently won the Democratic primary for State Senate, with the general election to fill the seat set for April 1.

“Jason and I met earlier in the week at Harrington's for nearly three hours.  We shared ideas and opinions about the campaign, our communities, and our values. I walked away from that meeting impressed; knowing that Jason wants to bring imagination and innovation to government – that begins with stronger schools and better funding for our cities and towns,” said Anthony Guardia. “Specifically I was impressed with Jason's legislation on Chapter 70 funding reform and his ideas around social innovation bonds and the role the private sector can play in bettering our Commonwealth.”
