Donations Needed for Wakefield Holiday Shop

Donated gifts can include new winter clothing as well as toys and games. Drop off items Dec. 8 at Americal Civic Center.

On Sunday, December 8, 2013 from 2 pm to 5 pm, volunteers will be accepting donated gifts for the Holiday Shop.  The shop is located at the Americal Civic Center.   Donated gifts must be new.  Donated gifts can include warm winter clothing (hats, mittens, sweaters) as well as toys and games suitable for infants, children, and teens. 

For shopping, the Holiday Shop is open to parents or guardians who find it difficult to meet their children’s every day needs.   The children who receive the gifts must be residents of Wakefield.  Parents or guardians may shop for presents for their children free of charge.

         Monday – December 9th – 10 am to 3 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. 

         Tuesday – December 10th – 10 am to 3 pm.
