First meeting is Nov. 2. Parents still needed to assist too.

A new Daisy Girl Scout Troop is set to start meeting soon in Wakefield.

The troop will reportedly meet on Saturdays from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Colonial Pointe Apartments community room on Audubon Road and various roles for parents are still needed such as assistant leader and cookie parent. Parents can sign up at the first meeting to provide a snack during a troop meeting. Girls in this troop reportedly attend Woodville and other schools in Wakefield.

The first meeting for parents and girls is on November 2. Contact Saralee Rodriguez at rodriguezsaralee@yahoo.com for information.
