Today in Wakefield sports  - Boys varsity tennis plays Burlington at 3:30 p.m. @ Burlington, girls varsit tennis plays Burlington at 3:30 p.m. at home, boys varsity baseball and girls varsity softball play Stoneham at 3:45 p.m. at home, boys varsity lacrosse plays Lexington at 4 p.m. @ Lexington, and girls varsity lacrosse plays Reading at 4 p.m. at home. 

3. Readers' Choice - This week's Best of Readers' Choice contest is asking Wakefield residents to pick their favorite place for Mother's Day brunch. You can vote in the poll, leave a comment, or write a review on the restaurant's page.

Support WHS softball - Support Wakefield High School Softball by buying a calendar at one of the participating local businesses, and you'll get multiple chances to win gift certificates to various places in town. Calendars cost $5. Participating businesses include: , , , ,, , , , and more. Buy your calendars this week!

5. Get crafty - Enter to win an $80 gift certificate to by donating a small piece of furniture you have painted to be used to decorate the front of the store. The paint job should be bright cheerful, and fun. The furniture can be old. Drop off your painted furniture on or before May 16th to be eligible for the gift certificate.
