“Keep Me Safe” Story Time Series

Teaching children to avoid dangerous or abusive situations
The “Keep Me Safe Story Time” is a six-week series for kids age 3-5 focusing on teaching children skills to help them avoid and discourage dangerous or abusive situations. Because the information builds from week to week, children should attend all six story times.

Children may attend either the Wednesday series or the Saturday series. The Wednesday series will meet at 1:30 p.m. and run weekly from Nov. 6 to Dec. 18 (no meeting on Nov. 27). The Saturday series will meet at 10 a.m. and fun from Nov. 2 to Dec. 14 (no meeting on Nov. 30).

Sign kids up online or phone the Youth Room at 781-246-6334, x3. When registering online, simply sign up for either the first Wednesday (Nov. 6) session or the first Saturday (Nov. 2) and you will be signed up for that full six-week series.

Keep Me Safe Story Time teaches children social skills that are intended to avoid and discourage dangerous or abusive situations. Thematic lessons include:
