The Program:
This special Father's Day performance is guaranteed to delight first-time listeners and seasoned concert-goers alike.

Berlioz's mighty "Corsair Overture," a classical transcription, shows off the fast fingers of our fine players, while the lyric quality of the band's sound shines through "Soli Deo Gloria" - a lovely traditional hymn setting - and "The Prayer," a song made famous by tenor Andrea Bocelli and pop star Celine Dion, performed by for you by NEBB soloists Doug Ruby (baritone) and Travis Anderson (tuba).

Members of our cornet section take center stage for Leroy Anderson's delightful "Bugler's Holiday," while principle trombonist Brandon Scianna is featured in Kevin Norbury's masterful "Flourish for Trombone."
We are also proud to present an original composition by NEBB's own Stephen Bulla.  "Images for Brass" is a multi-movement work exploring the heartbreak of war while paying tribute to the courage of the American Soldier.

All this and more - get your tickets now, and don't forget to invite Dad!

About Us:
NEBB is a 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble that brings concerts and educational clinics to communities throughout New England.
While the familiar American concert band is made up of both brass and woodwind instruments, the New England Brass Band follows the traditional British brass band instrumentation: cornets, flugelhorn, Eb tenor horns, baritones, euphoniums, trombones, tubas and percussion.  The warmth and richness of this all-brass group creates a unique sound that is both full and nimble, sonorous and transparent.
